Small Groups Community!
New Hope Lutheran has a vibrant small group community available on a variety of days, nights, and times. Various studies are chosen for their topics and the needs of the congregation. Small groups are a wonderful opportunity to get to know other Christians in a warm, close environment, to share in the love of Christ. Visitors to New Hope are invited to drop in on a small group. Community Outreach
New Hope strives to meet the needs of both its congregation and its members and sustains a number of outreach opportunities. Each Sunday, food is collected for the Central Virginia Food Bank as well as food pantry needs within the congregation. New Hope also hosts a continual "diaper drive" for families in need in the community at large. These activities are coordinated through local agencies. Every winter, a coat drive and Christmas Mother/families in need outreach is planned, as well as various opportunities that occur throughout the year as they come to our attention. New Hope Lutheran tries to live by the principle of Matthew 25:40:
The King will answer and say to them, "Truly I say to you, to the extent that you did it to one of these brothers of Mine, even the least of them, you did it to Me."
